Freiburg, Germany; Helsinki, Finland; Paris, France; Rome, Italy; (November 3, 2026) — October was a very fruitful month for We Are Innovation. The network is proud to announce its partner number #62, the Centres for European Policy Network (CEP).
CEP is a European policy think tank, funded by the non-profit Foundation for “Ordnungspolitik.” Its work, which includes research and policy recommendations, is grounded in free market principles. CEP’s headquarters are located in Freiburg, Germany, and there are three other offices spread through the capitals of Finland, France and Italy.
With a presence in Finland, France, Germany and Italy — home to more than 217 million people, nearly half of the European Union’s population — CEP brings a depth of insight into some of the most important policy conversations in Europe. Its work spans the countries at the heart of EU decision-making, as well as a valuable Nordic perspective through Finland. Together, we look forward to building bridges across borders, sharing ideas between our partners around the world, and championing innovation as a force for prosperity and freedom in Europe’s policy debates.
Prof. Henning Vöpel, the CEO of CEP, talks about his expectations on the new partnership, “We live in times of geopolitical shifts and exponential technological change. In this regard, it is particularly important that the global civil society creates open, cooperative networks in order to drive human-centric and multi-perspective innovation as a precondition of global progress.
