Porto Alegre, Brazil (September 1, 2026) — We Are Innovation has some good news for the summer. The network just welcomed its partner #59, the Brazilian think-tank Instituto Atlantos.
Instituto Atlantos is based in Porto Alegre, the capital of Brazil’s southernmost state Rio Grande do Sul, and its main focus is to promote and enrich the debate on ideas of freedom, both in the academic sphere and in society. Its activities include translating works by international authors, publishing articles, conducting training programs, organizing events and running advocacy campaigns.
The think-tank is We Are Innovation’s fourth Brazilian partner, after Mises Brasil, Instituto Fúrias da Liberdade (former Instituto Damas de Ferro) and the Luso-Brazilian Podcast ZugaTV. Brazil keeps on being a very strategic country for the network due to its size, vast population, constantly growing innovation landscape and significant influence on both South America and the Portuguese speaking world.
Vinicius Camillo, the Director of Operations at Instituto Atlantos, shares his expectations, “We see joining We Are Innovation as an opportunity to strengthen Atlantos through international connections, new partnerships, and opportunities for collaboration on projects in education, innovation, and entrepreneurship”.
